Coming to a new country, or even a new city, can be exciting, but at the same time, unsettling, disorienting, even overwhelming. Perhaps you’ve left behind a job or career, friends, family, familiar cultural and physical surroundings.  How will you spend your time in this new environment? How do you find your place and maintain or develop a sense of identity and purpose?

If you are concerned about your career or professional development, and are considering looking for work (paid or volunteer), Dinorah Meyer will provide one-on-one career counseling appointments for UC Berkeley's spouses and partners at her private practice in San Francisco at no cost to spouses and partners.
